YouTube Channel Rebrand
Problem:
Knight’s Solutions' YouTube channel lacked significant branding, with several areas needing attention. The videos didn’t feature YouTube thumbnails, making them harder to identify and less visually engaging. Additionally, there was a lack of relevant video titles, descriptions, and hashtags, which hindered discoverability and searchability. Some content was off-brand and required editing to align with the company’s messaging. Furthermore, there was no clear strategy for subscriber growth, regular posting, or optimizing the content already uploaded for maximum impact. This project took the effort of myself working as project manager, our Graphic Designer, and Video Producer.
Solution:
Download and edit videos to remove portions that are not on brand, and re-upload after edits completed
Hide/archive videos that don’t further the Knight’s solutions brand
Create and add all new branded video thumbnails with titles
Update video titles and descriptions to improve SEO
Add relevant hashtags to improve searchability and SEO
Create new playlists to silo content
Upload new content under the new brand standards
Share video links on other platforms from the YouTube channel to drive subscribers and engagement to the refreshed YouTube channel

Results:
The update started July 19, 2022, and was completed July 25, 2022
In total, 34 video were updated with new titles, descriptions, and branded thumbnails.
June 1-30 – 179 views, July 1-31 – 329 views, an 83.80% increase in views between the previous month and the month updates were completed
June 1-30 – 6.5 hours of watch time, July 1-31 – 11 hours of watch time, a 69.23% increase in watch time between the previous month and the month updates were completed
June 1-30 – 97 unique viewers, July 1-31 – 122 unique viewers, a 25.77% increase in new viewers between the previous month and the month updates were completed
